Created by the Ashaninka of the Acre region of the Amazon. These necklaces are traditionally worn by the women of the village to represent their divine feminine energy, to attack a partner or to promote fertility. Seeds on the pendant for good luck and protection, and represent fertility. These beads traditionally fall right by the heart space or the top of the womb. The Ashaninka are an indigenous tribe of the Acre region of Brazil in the Amazon. They carry a very powerful and ancient shamanic lineage that has been one of the most well-preserved cultures from the region. Their art is inspired by the visions that the shamans have in ayahuasca ceremony.
